The frame is made from a length of chair rail – it measures 18″ wide X 24″ high. I mitered the corners and used wood glue to join them. I used a darker wood stain for the inside area of the frame and on the dowel, highlighted the leaves with oil paints, and sealed it with a coat of clear satin varnish. The dowel is for displaying bracelets. Burlap is stretched, stapled, and hot glued it to the back–earrings will be displayed there. The four decorative knobs are used to display long necklaces. The frame display will be used on a table at the craft show supported by a tabletop easel. This display also provides a barrier between the seller and the craft show customer.
I purchased this metal tree wall decor and mounted it to the closet door in my studio to display earrings. Moving some of the earrings from the swivel rack on my work table left vacancies there to add newer pieces as they are completed.
