Photography: Michigan Lighthouse

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

My sister and I traveled to Michigan a few years ago where we found most of the lighthouses along our pathway around the state.  This one happened to have just the right amount of light behind it to make a good memory.

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

Photography: Resources for Taking Photos of Jewelry

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

I am currently taking photos of my jewelry and will probably get some help on this but there are some great resources online for tips and pointers on doing this.

FoxHollow also recommends Picasa for photo editing, it is a free photo editor from Google and has quite a nice budget setup to photo jewelry.

This is an effective, easy method to provide the right amount of light for jewelry photos.  Illumination through the plastic eliminates or greatly decreases shadowing.
